CGMS BLENDED RESIDENTIAL/
ONLINE MONTESSORI TRAINING &
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Are you looking for a reputable yet convenient way to become a certified teacher? CGMS Full Certificate teacher education programs are well regarded and our Elementary and Primary Full Certificate programs are MACTE accredited and IMC affiliated. Our new Infant / Toddler program is an applicant in good standing with MACTE. All of our Full Certificate blended low-residency programs offer world-class and respected training with either one or two short residencies.

Each of the three CGMS teacher training programs is offered in two tiers, either a Full IMC Certificate or an Associate IMC Certificate program. Whereas the Full Certificate program includes the residencies mentioned above, the Associate Certificate is online-only; both do require a practicum internship in a Montessori classroom. We do not recommend students within North America to enroll in the online Associate Certificate because so many schools on this continent now require their teachers to be MACTE-accredited. That said, students may enroll in Associate programs initially and then attend residencies later in order to upgrade to the IMC Full Certificate.

Infant/Toddler: Montessori teacher education for adults who wish to teach children below 3 years in age.
Early Childhood: Montessori teacher education for adults who wish to teach children between age 3 and 6 years.
Elementary: Montessori teacher education for adults who wish to teach children from age 6 to 12.
Professional Development courses for Montessori teachers, assistants and parents.

Status as an “Applicant in Good Standing” no way determines the outcome of the accreditation decision by MACTE. The MACTE Office will monitor the progress of the TEP’s writing progress to ensure a timely submission of the Self-Study within two years of the application.
