ONCE AGAIN!

IMC members who stay for the entire event pay the same as those who are coming to the Friday/Saturday option!

What does this mean? Why would we do that? Are they sure they typed that correctly?

It means, there is no extra registration charge for staying through Sunday. Why? Because we think our Sunday program is so content rich it is worth it to us not to charge you a higher fee for the additional 2 workshops. And, nope, it’s typed correctly!

IMC members in good standing with their dues will pay $415 (transportation, lodging and Saturday night dinner are not included). In other words, if you are an IMC member you get: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Not a current IMC member at the individual or school level? Add this on to your registration at check out and take the member’s discounted price. If you choose not to become a member (not the most economical choice but yours to make) than when you check out you will take the non-member price which is $100 additional for each and every level.

Purchase Orders / Special Requests

Does your school/school district have available funds to use before the end of the school year? What a perfect win-win for all if you use those funds to send staff to this event. ONLY SCHOOLS sending groups can apply for an invoice. We can not invoice any individual this year.

Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)

Many thanks to Lander University in Greenwood, SC for being our CEU provider again, this year.

CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are often necessary for teachers/guides to earn each year. Each state has a different set of requirements, so find out what your state requires.

For a small extra fee ($22) and some required paperwork (you need to write a narrative of all the workshops you attend and save your registration page from your receipt), you may be able to earn up to 2.5 CEUs for attending the full event. This is an add-on that you can purchase during registration.

Earn 1 CEU on Friday and/or 1 CEU on Saturday if you attend all workshops and all keynotes each of these days.

Sunday you can earn ½ CEU (attendees must have participated in 2 workshops)

Here’s what you are required to do:

  1. Attendees must select the CEU option when they officially register for the conference. The cost is $22 per person regardless of how many days of the conference attended.
  2. Attendees will need to make certain that they save a PDF of their confirmed registration (you will get this when you finish registering and paying) and then forward that electronically, along with a 2 question per workshop narrative, to the Department of Teacher Education at Lander University.
  3. Once reviewed by Lander, an electronic certificate will be sent to each attendee who requested and pre-paid for it.
